SCOUNDRVLS

this is not a story

BUT A WAY
DEAR PERSONAL BLOGS, you are more than welcome to follow me. i'm humbled that you enjoy my writing enough to have it on your dash. i ask that you do not interact with any threads. while i personally don't mind it can be uncomfortable for other roleplayers, some of whom might be my partners. anything else, like any graphics i make or drabbles i write, you are free to reblog. and while i might not follow back, that doesn't mean i don't want to chat with you ooc. i enjoy nerding out with new friends.
DEAR FELLOW WRITERS,
ONE, an independent and selective hive of scoundrels, villains, and rebel-hearted heroes who dare the grain from STAR WARS. fly casual with hackett, 25+. given the nature of the franchise, this blog will contain graphic content which includes detailed descriptions of body horror, mental duress, violence, torture, situational terror, adult themes, and mentions of societal prejudice. because of that, i strictly interact in-character with individuals who are 18 or older, no exceptions.TWO, i'm heartbroken that i need to say this but please do not copy or use anything that you see on this blog. my graphics and my carrd design/layout are not free resources. everything i create is for my own use and for those i gave permission to. i pour a lot of time, effort, and attention to detail into the things i make and i don't appreciate them being taken out from under me. we all strive to express our hard-won individuality so it's not fair to me and it's not fair to you. so please don't do it.THREE, i've been cranium deep in the star wars life for a masochistic amount of time and AM well versed in both legends and new canon. that being said, i do not expect my partners to be as big of a no-life nerd as me. i'm not here to test your knowledge. din djarin is living proof that even the people who live in the galaxy far, far away have no idea what the hell is going on. i simply enjoy bringing a universe i really love to life.FOUR, i read all your info before following/following back. i do my best to keep track of mutuals' needs but as previously mentioned, by nature of the gffa, content that is potentially triggering will be prevalent. given the frequency, i am liable to miss tagging something.my formatting is "subject tw" for visuals and "subject cw" for writing.FIVE, i can be hit or miss with plotting. i tend to enjoy winging interactions, being surprised as events unfold naturally, and coming together in a huddle if an idea pops up for where the thread could go. genre-wise, i've got a major soft spot for action, adventure, survival, and lots and lots of angst.
SIX, because of tumblr's propensity for drama i do not participate in call-out culture. in my experience, call-outs are one-sided fallouts between friends or kneejerk virtue signaling. while i appreciate the push for a safe environment, it's incredibly difficult to judge the op's intentions. however, i'm not so altruistic that i ignore actual dangers in the rpc ( ie. motherfucking matt ) and if a partner is a person of that caliber of fucked, then message me privately through ims or discord with evidence.DO NOT send an anonymous message. i respect your experiences and trust that we can talk like mature adults.SEVEN, i do not have patience for hateful behavior. there's a line between having an opinion and downright vitriol. i won't waste the energy i want to spend on having fun engaging adult temper tantrums in the form of vague posting and anons. i'm here to be a big fucking nerd and make myself cry. so please, spend your spoons on media and spaces that make you happy.EIGHT, ooc prejudice of any kind is not tolerated, but morally flawed muses are not held to this standard. art reflects reality, but that doesn't make it reality. you are not your character, you are a real person. if your character does xyz that doesn't mean i believe that you personally condone xyz. in other words, your muse can be a dingus so long as you are not.NINE, obligatory mentions of godmodding which i'm not very concerned about. it's something we all know not to do. but just to clarify, i'm totally fine with your muse physically interacting with mine. you can attack them, capture them, touch them, injure them, etc. if it helps with the flow of the story, you can have them follow your muse, send them to a certain location, etc. i'm really not fussed. all i ask is you just don't control any major actions and reactions or in-depth thoughts. if there's something in a reply i don't vibe with, i'll simply talk to you about an alternative.TEN, i love making new friends and my ims are open to all, but if you do decide to stop by for a hi, apologies in advance. i have bad habit of replying to messages in my head then forgetting to actually, you know, type it out.

thank you
seriously, i know my rules are a hefty beast so i'm grateful for your time. please be kind to yourself and others. thank you for your consideration and i look forward to writing with you! hope we can be friends!
